Jalyn Lewis film and TV composer, born in Nashville, Tennessee move later on in life to Birmingham, Alabama, who was enthused by music growing up and decided to start with jazz band. Continued with music through middle school and high school with marching band and percussion ensembles eventually going to college for a BA in music while still continue to be in marching band percussion while joining choirs to expand his physical pallet, discovering filming TV composition his sophomore year of college,as time evolved he discovered his own sound. He used the critiques from his percussion ensemble days and percussion solos, and used them to incorporated them into his own music. Taking inspirations from his hip-hop, R&B and percussion background and making a new sound in his own way.
